About EMGravity
Building the post-propellant era of space.
EMGravity is a deep-tech company commercializing a new class of solid-state, propellantless propulsion based on a coherence-dependent coupling between electromagnetic and gravitational fields. We hold the foundational patent, run an open replication program, and license the technology to aerospace, defense, and research partners.
Our Mission
“EMGravity exists to bring propellantless propulsion from theory to reality. We believe that eliminating the propellant constraint is the single most transformative advancement possible in space technology.”
The Company
How we operate
IP-First
We invest in robust patent coverage of the core physics, the device architecture, and the optimized embodiments — and license that IP to partners with the manufacturing scale to deploy it.
Open Replication
We publish a complete build guide and run a submission portal so independent labs, engineers, and qualified hobbyists can verify the effect — turning extraordinary claims into reproducible measurements.
Capital-Efficient
Solid-state, no propellant, no exotic materials. The bench-scale test article uses copper plates, a polymer dielectric, and a high-voltage DC supply — keeping replication and iteration cycles fast and cheap.
Team
The people behind EMGravity

Corey Silvia
Founder & Inventor
Corey is the inventor of the EMGravity propulsion architecture and the author of the underlying theoretical framework — a scalar-tensor extension of general relativity in which gravity couples to the coherent (Reynolds-mean) component of the electromagnetic stress-energy tensor. The framework's primary empirical commitment is to the asymmetric-capacitor literature, where it predicts both signs of the existing data (zero thrust under current flow; thrust without current flow) from a single mechanism. He filed the foundational US provisional patent on April 11, 2026; the load-bearing test of the framework is independent replication of the Aurigema-Buhler vacuum-thrust persistence observations.
His career has crossed Apple Retail, professional sports photography (US Open, Getty, ESPN), motorsports strategy in the Red Bull Global Rallycross paddock, and a decade as a self-employed CTO building AI-driven infrastructure for businesses. That mix — deep technical work, an outsider's instinct for first principles, and an obsession with physics — is what produced the breakthrough. He is based in Surprise, Arizona.

US Provisional Patent Application
Application No.
64/036,293
Title
Apparatus and Method for Generating Directional Force Using Coherence-Dependent Electromagnetic-Gravitational Coupling in Multilayer Capacitive Structures
Filed
April 11, 2026
Inventor
Corey Silvia
The full provisional disclosure is not available for download. Qualified parties (licensing prospects, investors, referees) can request access by contacting the inventor directly.
The full provisional disclosure is held back while the bench program runs and the international filing window is open. Many jurisdictions (EPO, JP, CN, KR, IN) have absolute-novelty rules where any prior public disclosure can forfeit patent rights — keeping the document private through the PCT window preserves filing flexibility for licensing partners.
Milestones
Timeline
April 2026
Foundational Patent Filed
US Provisional Application No. 64/036,293 filed, covering the core apparatus and method for generating directional force via coherence-dependent electromagnetic-gravitational coupling.
2026 — ongoing
Bench testing
Active prototype work at the lab — building the bench article, instrumenting the rig, running the asymmetric-capacitor experiments the framework predicts. Test data is logged scientifically and made available to vetted referees as it accrues.
2026 — ongoing
Seeking partners + investors
Engaging with aerospace companies, defense contractors, research institutions, and aligned investors. Conversations run in parallel with the bench program; technical diligence is supported by the published referee program.
2026+
Licensing
Once independent replication confirms the persistence-after-power-off observation, technology licenses open to qualified aerospace, defense, and research partners.
2027
Non-Provisional Conversion
Conversion of the provisional application into a full non-provisional patent with expanded claims, plus international PCT filings into the major aerospace jurisdictions before the priority window closes.
The Vision
Where This Technology Leads
Imagine spacecraft with unlimited range. Satellites that never run out of station-keeping fuel. Orbital platforms that operate permanently, without resupply. Deep space missions that accelerate continuously for years, reaching velocities that chemical propulsion can never achieve.
Propellantless propulsion doesn't just improve space operations — it fundamentally transforms what's possible. This is the technology that enables the next era of space access.
