DMCA Policy
Effective: May 5, 2026
1. Filing a takedown notice
To submit a notice of claimed copyright infringement, send a written communication to our designated agent (below) that includes all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright that is alleged to be infringed.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, if multiple works are covered by a single notice, a representative list).
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity, with information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material — typically a direct URL on
emgravity.space. - Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you (address, telephone number, email).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Notices that do not substantially comply with these requirements may not be actionable. Knowingly false notices may subject you to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees, under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
2. Counter-notice
If material you posted has been removed in response to a takedown notice and you believe it was removed in error or that you have authorization to use it, you may submit a counter-notice to our designated agent that includes all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that has been removed, and the location at which it appeared before removal.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which EMGravity may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notice or that person's agent.
On receipt of a valid counter-notice, we may forward it to the original complainant and may restore the removed material in accordance with the DMCA.
3. Repeat-infringer policy
We will, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, terminate accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
4. Designated agent
DMCA notices and counter-notices may be sent to:
EMGravity — DMCA Agent
Attn: Corey Silvia
Email: the contact form (subject line: “DMCA Notice”)
Notices submitted by means other than the designated channel may not receive a timely response. A formal designated-agent registration with the U.S. Copyright Office will be added once established; until then this contact is the operative channel.
