Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how EMGravity uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on emgravity.space. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixel tags. We use these mechanisms to operate the Service, remember your sign-in state, and measure aggregate usage.

2. Categories of cookies we use

Strictly necessary. Required to authenticate your account and keep you signed in across pages. Set by our authentication provider (Clerk). The Service does not work properly without these.
Functional. Remember preferences such as dropdown state and form drafts during a session. Cleared when you close the tab unless explicitly persisted.
Analytics. Vercel Web Analytics records aggregate page-view and performance metrics. Vercel Analytics is privacy-friendly and does not use cross-site tracking cookies; it stores small amounts of data per visit to attribute metrics, but it does not track you across other sites.

We do not use cookies or pixels for advertising, cross-context behavioral targeting, or third-party retargeting.

3. Third-party cookies

Cookies set by Clerk (authentication) and Vercel (hosting and analytics) are governed by the respective provider's privacy policy. We do not embed third-party advertising SDKs.

4. How to control cookies

Browser controls. Most browsers let you block, delete, or be notified about cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent sign-in.
Do Not Track. The Service does not respond to Do-Not-Track signals because there is no industry-standard definition of those signals at this time. We do, however, honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where applicable.

5. Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated Effective date.
